This pretty building downtown is called the Alte Post. The painting is so detailed. The people painted on the building are the most important princes of the Wittelsbacher. During the 16th century this building was used as a place to meet for the local governement. A few centuries later this building became the post office and so it is still named "Alte Post" today.
The main part of downtown at night.
Altstadt is normally the german expression for the old centre of any town, but in Landshut it is the name of the main street. Isn't it so pretty and almost fake looking.
The buildings are so colorful.
