Munich- Marienplatz

Mariensaule, which means Saint Mary's Column.
This was built in 1638 to give thanks to the Swedes for not pillaging the city.
It is 36 feet high and a symbolic center of the city.

Neues Rathaus, which means Munich Town Hall.

It was built between 1867 and 1909. It has a 279 foot tower.

He is real, not a statue.

A man was painting this on the sidewalk.

Aren't those people who pose as statues in the plazas crazy!? It is amazing how still they can be! I saw some people in Barcelona who did that.
