This is the Feldherrnhalle (Field Marshall's Hall). It was built in 1844.

It has had a prominent place in German history since Hitler's failed attempted march to the Feldherrenhalle in 1923.

These two pictures are from a mall we went in. They are just pretty pictures.

Theatinerkirche and Alte Pinakothek

This is called Theatinerkirche.

It was built in 1662 and many kings and princes have been laid to rest in the royal crypt.



These last four pictures are of Alte Pinakothek. It is one of the oldest museums in the world and has one of the largest collections of painting in Europe. There are more than 800 paintings dating from the 14th to the 18th centuries. This building was established 1826 and 1836.
